Vanguard EMS Expands System Integration Center

Beaverton, Ore. May 7, 2007 Vanguard EMS, an Electronics Manufacturing Services provider serving leading-edge technology firms, today announced the opening of the Vanguard System Integration Center to support increased demand for box build and system integration across multiple industry segments.

As one of the largest independent EMS providers in the Pacific Northwest, Vanguard is continuing to invest in enhancing our capability to serve the domestic manufacturing market. High-level assembly is a service required by and important to our customers, said Floyd Sutz, CEO.

Vanguard is currently building a wide array of products that includes: Chassis, rack mount, pneumatics, fluids, vision/optics, products with critical cosmetic specifications and highly regulated products.

In addition we endeavored to lay out our System Integration Center in concert with our ongoing implementation of Lean principles, said Bill Winther, President. The time saved by supporting products from procurement through box build with one supplier in one facility alone drives complexity and cost out of our customers supply chain. In addition, our Lean culture is a continuous journey that continues to drive out waste and we expect ongoing improvements in our System Integration Center as we continue to grow.
